KEVIN G. HEERE

 Mr. Heere has over 13 years of experience in the laboratory and healthcare computer fields. During this time, he has participated in the building, implementation, troubleshooting, and debugging of several different laboratory information systems.

 He has held positions as senior systems analyst, and he was the project leader during several software conversions. His responsibilities also included data entry, reorganizing databases, and streamlining operations.

 He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from Pennsylvania State University and is certified as a Medical Technologist (ASCP). Mr. Heere also has completed courses with various LIS vendors including anatomic pathology, patient charting, operations, Discern Explorer (CCL), software installation, and advanced Mumps programming.

 Mr. Heere has extensive laboratory computer systems experience, including Cerner's Pathnet system running on a Digital VAX system, conversion from Pathnet releases 3.03 to 3.05 and to release 3.06. He served as clinical supervisor for Acutech Medical Laboratories to build and streamline operations and to oversee technical, processing, and data entry areas. In this position he assisted in troubleshooting a PDP 11/84 and a PDP 11/93 running Antrim LIS software and developed and initiated Antrim's QC program at Acutech.

 His experience and background also include the position of systems manager/assistant laboratory manager for Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, where he assisted in building and implementing the Sunquest Flexilab system running on an IBM 9370. He built the database and implemented the system and was responsible for management of day-to-day computer operations, including troubleshooting and debugging various software problems.

 Prior to this, Mr. Heere was a medical technologist at MDS Laboratories, where he was instrumental in troubleshooting all phases of computerization from accessioning, data entry, and results reporting to new program debugging and institution. He also served MDS as a systems administrator/analyst of a Prime 450II system running Lab Force software and was assigned to the implementation team when a DEC Microvax 3600 with Rubicon IntRlab software was purchased.
